Some of the hard-working Bath BID rangers met a couple of Owls in Bath Street recently where they sized up their surface area, as they have very kindly offered to give the flock occasional bird baths during the summer whilst on duty around the city!

The parliament (as a group of owls is known) will be coated in a special anti-graffiti varnish, but inquisitive seagulls and pigeons may well leave their mark.  BID rangers plan to have sponges at the ready for a touch of TLC and owl preening if needed.

Many thanks to Alan, Enrique and Jenny for stopping by to meet the owls and the new Owls in Transit van, which will soon become a familiar sight around Bath and the surrounding region.

A new tongue twister – “Bath BID bird baths”, “Bath BID bird baths”…
