A beautifully decorated owl, painted by celebrated local artist Richard Twose, will be nesting in a prime location just outside The Ivy Bath Brasserie in Milsom Street for this summer’s Minerva’s Owls of Bath sculpture trail.

The Ivy Bath Owl, pictured here with Richard Twose and Katja Kammerer, General Manager at The Ivy Bath Brasserie, was much admired by passers-by as photos of his pre-decorated arrival were taken.

Owly won’t go hungry this summer as The Ivy offers all-day dining featuring modern British classics and internationally inspired dishes, available from dawn until dusk, seven days a week!

Katja said: “We’re delighted to be involved with this year’s Minerva’s Owls of Bath campaign. It’s a fantastic way to promote the unique city of Bath and to support and celebrate our local community. We’re also very excited to be working with the very talented Richard Twose on our bespoke design.”

Richard, will be working on his Owl, which will have a Greek mythological theme, at his studio in Wellow in between major commissions he is currently working on for clients around the world.
