Trigiformes
Sponsor: Milsom Place • Artist: Sue Guthrie
About the owl Trigiforms is an eye-catching celebration of colour and form. The scientific name for Owls is Strigiformes. Artist Sue Guthrie took this as her starting point to create an Owl based on triangles called Trigiformes. Trigonometry being the branch of maths that studies relationships involving lengths and angles of triangles. This owl is equally about the relationships between the shades and hues of the different colours used in the design. Trigiforms will be nesting at Milsom Place, the Bath shopping and dining destination with two beautiful courtyards located between Milsom Street and Broad Street.
