About the owl Minerva's Night Owl represents female spirit and empowerment and the goddess Minerva in all women, using the hot, fiery and powerful pinks that are Rebecca the artist's trademark colours. Rebecca says: "We celebrate 100 years of womens' right to vote this year, which has been my inspiration, particularly as I met the great grandson of Emmeline Parnkhurst when living in Australia last year.

About the artist With a degree and Masters from Bath Spa Academy of Arts, Rebecca Collett has immersed herself in the creative sector. With a genuine passion for travel and adventure, Collett took an inspirational year out exploring India, Asia and Australia and has now returned to her first love of painting after growing and nurturing her family alongside running her own business interests over the past 12 years. Colour dominates her work and she revisits the incredible colour, light and pure energy of India, the architectually shaped cityscape of Singapore and the deep hillsides and jungles of Vietnam in her paintings.
